Bigger is better! | Brisbane Baby PhotographerFebruary 6, 2009, 1:33 pm Posted in Brisbane Photographer
I've always wanted a large canvas for this area in my house... problem was (believe it or not) I didn't have any images of my own family that I just adored. That all changed the moment I captured this shot of my 2 girls. So here it is (a 24x36 inch gallery wrap canvas) and I tell you it's a great talking point when guests arrive - big prints really are a statement and I love displaying my images just as I would a piece of art. (on a side note, it's my first session in the new studio, and first session back from maternity leave tomorrow so thank you to all who've followed the last 5 weeks with me. It'll be back to our normal programming with sneak peeks of gorgeous bubs and yummy mummies very soon)

Sneak Peek: James & Nelly | Brisbane Baby PhotographerFebruary 10, 2009, 5:24 pm Posted in Brisbane Photographer Check out these two delectable little muffins, James and his 4 month old sister Nelly paid me a little visit today and I'm so glad they did - what a cute pair you have Elissa!! I was a little worried we didn't get enough shots of James who tore about just as little boys tend to do, but when I downloaded the images to my computer this afternoon I found tons! Here's just a few to keep you going, it was so good to see you again Elissa, even if it was a bit chaotic ;)

and finally, our attempt at a sibling shot (it doesn't always go to plan!!) I love this anyway...

My Poor Kids...February 17, 2009, 4:50 pm Posted in General
Kinda cute though isn't it? Go on, admit it! This is just one of the newborn hats I received this afternoon in a bunch I am photographing for an Etsy retailer. I just had to try one out on Miss Mila. And did you notice my baby's eyes?? Storm grey! We have no idea whether they're going to be blue or brown.
ooo I have news too - you can now keep up with the Little Posers blog if you use google reader (or something similar) If you're like me and have a list as long as your arm of blogs you keep up with and you don't use a reader, you should click here to check it out! My mornings are so much simpler now, I don't have to check which blogs have been updated, google does all the hard work for me while I sip my cup of tea. To add Little Posers to your reader just click the 'rss subscribe' icon to the right of this page.

Posing in her 'at' | Brisbane Children's PhotographerFebruary 18, 2009, 4:45 pm Posted in Brisbane Children\'s Photographer The words are coming thick and fast now, my little chatterbox is learning so quickly. She gets very frustrated though when we don't understand what she's trying to say... luckily we understand the most important words of all: 'wray kool' which for those who are non-fluent in Rilka speak is Play School - her most favourite show in the whole of the land!
So it was Rilka's turn with the hats today - she'd wear this one all day and night if I let her.
I have no idea where those lovely lashes have come from, (certainly not me!) Lucky thing.

Sneak Peek: Ned | Brisbane Newborn PhotographerFebruary 26, 2009, 4:36 pm Posted in Brisbane Newborn Photographer ooo isn't he adorable?? Ned is just 6 days old today and already a little star. I usually prefer my newborns asleep when I'm doing a session but Ned was just so alert and ready to party. He did take a couple of catnaps though and he was a pleasure to photograph because he gave me such great eye contact, so he went easy on me! I know his mummy is dying to see a couple of these so without further ado, let me introduce baby Ned...
