I'm feeling in a black and white mood today and Natalie's pregnancy shoot suits it perfectly. Bub #1 is due in just 2 weeks and I can't wait to meet the little guy!

8 day old Neve nearly had us beat, she was pretty intent on staying awake for the first part of her newborn shoot but gave in in the end and crashed until we'd finished... she's the second newborn in a row too to leave me with no washing!!

So this one definitely had me on my toes! 3 under 5 and it was certainly loud in the studio this morning. Lesley you'll be very happy to know that we have a heap of great shots (I know, even I was surprised!) that I can't wait to show you.

Little Posers is now growing so fast I can barely keep up with everything! As most of my clients know, I have 2 rug rats myself and I had managed to keep on top of it all (working mums would know the story: 10 minute bursts at the computer, working after kidlets are in bed) and now I've just got to the point where I NEED HELP!

The position is for a general office assistant with a love of children and babies of all ages, a bubbly personality and a background in admin or an organisational position. You will be collating orders, responding to client emails, invoicing, book keeping and generally keeping me up to date with past, present and future client needs.

This position will suit a mum with little ones perfectly as I'm totally flexible with work times, initially starting with around 1 day per week. I would love someone who is willing to grow with the business and take on other tasks and hours as needed.

6 day old Marcello, 9lb, so happy just to sleep his session away..

2.5 year old Eamon's mum was my boss back when we lived in Sydney and we hadn't caught up since so it was great to see her again and meet Mr Eamon for the first time. As always, 2 year olds are a ton of work but Marie, you'll be very pleased to know we have a heap of cuties!! Here's just a couple to tide you over until the whole gallery is ready xx

4 day old Willow is a little girl close to my heart - I witnessed her entry to the world in the early hours of Saturday morning. Her mummy and I are both photographers and Nic photographed Mila's birth in January. 6 months later, Miss Willow made her entrance with me capturing it all in the most amazing set of images. (I'll be sharing some here very soon) In the meantime, Nic and I had a ball today mucking about with her newborn shoot, I have so many favourites and it's getting late so I'll have to include more tomorrow!

This last one we just had to try! It's not prefect by any means but gosh it's cute!

Day 7 for Miller and it was a pretty cruisy one. She decided she'd rather sleep through her modelling debut which made my job super easy. Thanks for bringing her in Ben & Bec!

Back for a quick session with Lara on the weekend to capture some shots with Mum & Dad. Two year olds are hard work but worth it for the big, joyful smiles you can get out of them!

I received the call at 11pm 'they're breaking my waters now!' I climbed out of my warm bed, pulled on my clothes, grabbed the camera and headed out the door.

Friday night in the city, passing bars packed to the brim, people drinking, dancing, catching taxis. It was surreal to think I was on my way to witness someone being born.

When I arrived, Nic was cool, calm and collected. Contractions were bearable but baby was on it's way and surrounded by her Mum, Mother in Law and husband, the room was buzzing with anticipation. I pulled out my camera and started to document the night.

I'll let the slideshow tell the story, but before you press play, there are a few things to note...

1. This was Nicole's 3rd bub - she was hoping for a drug-free birth, but wasn't entirely confident leading up to the birth she could. She did. Of course she did. To see her take it all in her stride, without fear, was simply amazing.

2. Already with one boy and one girl in the family, they didn't mind what sex this bub was. Nicole was adamant that she would be the one to check whether they had a boy or girl. Watch for the frame where she checks the gender for herself and the complete and utter joy on her face as she realises she has another little girl. If only we had sound to go with that moment, I still get tingles watching it.

3. For the photographers, this was all shot with my Canon 5D Mark II and a combination of my 50mm 1.4 and 35mm 1.4 L series lenses. That baby rocks at ISO 1250!

All I can say is wow, William was probably the biggest newborn I've had in so far.... at 11lb 58cm he was a big one! He was also super sweet and slept through his shoot very happily.

Another little William in my studio - two in a row! William lives all the way up in Mount Isa and his mummy was in Brisbane to buy a wedding dress so made sure she booked in for a session while she was here - clever mummy! I've been so swamped with work my sneak peeks are a little behind (my new assistant Karen is being tested for swine flu!) so I know you've been waiting a couple of days for these Trudie. I hope they were worth the wait!

I'm changing things up around the Little Posers studio and am pleased to announce Mini Maternity Sessions!

Most of us just want a few lovely shots of us looking our gorgeous pregnant best, and so taking this into account, you can now book in for one of our mini sessions, held once a month in the studio.

Individual sessions are just 15 minutes in length, the perfect amount of time to get a couple of different looks - partners are most definitely welcome too. You will receive an around 5-10 images to choose from in a private online gallery and 4 5x7 inch portrait prints, plus 10% off extra items from the a la carte menu such as framing and canvas.

Ah, I do love spending my mornings with new little people such as the gorgeous Finn - who was a treasure to work with. His Dad is of Indian descent and Finn's grandmother had bought a gorgeous sari and anklet for him so we just had to incorporate it into the shots, it makes for an amazing pop of colour!

Michelle and her gorgeous belly came in for a pregnancy session this morning - just 2 weeks to go for this mumma-to-be.

Gorgeous Di in her 34th week of pregnancy (isn't her hair fabulous!?) all going to plan I'll be photographing this little bubby's arrival very soon!
