This beautiful little 7 day old baby girl came in for a little visit today - she arrived and left asleep, which considering her mum told me she'd been snoozing since 7.30am is nothing short of a miracle! I always go a little batty over a baby with dark hair and this little miss had a fantastic mop.

I thought I would show something a little different today, I always take images of a baby's teeny toes, kissable lips and itty bitty fingers to include in the gallery. Those tiny little details that change so quickly, but are forever etched into our minds as parents.

I loved these glamorous shots we took during Kelly's pregnancy session yesterday, she's been very patient waiting for these so I hope they're worth the wait! Can't wait to meet her bub later this month.

I have some very exciting news to share... Little Posers is growing up and moving out of home! I'll soon be located on Oxford Street, Bulimba in a very gorgeous natural light studio located right near the river. I'm having an absolute ball working with my very talented interior designer (more on her later) choosing fabrics, new couches, beautiful toys and rugs. 

I'm also madly working on a new look for 2010, a new logo, website and feel for Little Posers Photography. I couldn't be more excited. I'll unveil the new Little Posers very soon so keep your eyes peeled! I'll be taking my January newborn images in the new studio as we set up and am hoping to celebrate with a fabulous launch party in late January. (of course, all my lovely blog readers and clients will be invited)

Now for a little housekeeping. I will be away over the Christmas break from 23rd December to 6th January, I will have limited mobile and internet coverage between these dates and also while we're moving everything into the new studio. I will have dedicated office hours and open times for the studio (so you can pop in and say hi!) these will be announced in the new year.

It's not quite time for me to sign off just yet, I have more babies booked in right up until Christmas (including a set of twin girls) so in the meantime enjoy this beautiful family I snapped last week - Mum specifically wanted a family shot to have made into a canvas and I just love this one.

Tell me this first image doesn't make you grin. 18 month old Kahu loved being in front of the camera and we had a great session this morning. The ages between 1 and 3 are a notoriously hard stage to capture and I don't photograph many at this age but Kahu could easily make me change my mind!

2.5 year old Molly and her 7 month old sister Josie were too cute this morning. Oh my gosh it was hot but we worked through it and have so many cute shots.

6 day old Kailan was 'Mr Chilled' today. Not one peep from him for our entire session, and not one blanket for me to wash either! I could have played all day with this gorgeous little man.

I absolutely loved Isla's grin, charm and adorable little outfits - the perfect recipe for a fun shoot.

3 week old twins Moana and Adelaide were so good during their session today! I was a teeny tiny bit worried they would wake but we were very lucky to have 2 sleepy babies. The doctors aren't sure yet whether these two gorgeous girls are identical... I think they look pretty simliar here!

Here she is, my last newborn for 2009. And she was so good to me too! So lovely and sleepy with the cutest little puckered lips and mass of dark hair. 6 day old Eva is home just in time to celebrate Christmas with her mum & dad.

A very merry Christmas to all my blog readers, I'm off for a little beach holiday over the new year break and I'll be back with a new look and new studio in 2010!
