9 day old baby Riley was determined to stay up and check out everything that was happening today, we got him there in the end and he peacefully slept while we finished off his newborn session. I was able to use my new bowl for the first time as well, Riley gave it the seal of approval, I think he would have stayed curled up asleep in there all day long.

Robert was such a perfect little model this morning, I could have kept him.

I am squeezing in newborns left right and centre this month, Edward is coming in for 2 sessions - one next week when his Daddy is back from a work trip. I love the quizzical look he's giving me in this first one...

My second newborn for the day was 7 day old Campbell, I LOVE this family shot, Dad was just holding him this way and I knew it would be such a cute shot.

I love photographing weddings occasionally - they challenge me, allow me to get a little more creative, and take me to some beautiful destinations. Last weekend I was flown down to Melbourne to assist my friend Kristen Cook with the wedding of James and Sheila. We had a ball - the bride and groom were the sweetest couple! I told Rylan's Mum these wouldn't be up until Monday - I really should be packing for Sydney right now but I couldn't help myself and had to take a peek at Rylan's newborn session.

OMG holy cuteness, he was good to us today. I love to do the first image when I have a newborn that is just out like a light. (on a side note, a little public service announcement, please don't try this at home... there's a lot to be said for Photoshop if you know what I mean)

Rylan was also my 6th boy in a row! Wonder which client will be the first to break the baby girl drought?

7 day old Lauren, breaking the girl drought around the Little Posers studio! And she's the first girl for Katie after 2 boys so we both agreed her session needed to be very girly. Isn't she just precious?

Indulge me here and take a minute to appreciate this image... 4 kids aged 6 and under, looking absolutely adorable. Anyone with more than one child can appreciate how unpredictable multiple children at a time can be. These guys were so well behaved. Too cute, much too cute!

Photographing my products has long been on the 'to do' list but it seems I've been shooting sessions in every spare moment I have lately. So yesterday when I had an afternoon free I finally got around to collecting up all the yummy goodies in the studio and updating the website.

I try to only source the very best of everything for my clients - canvas is brought in from the US, frames made locally from a professional framer, albums of the very best quality and prints from a local Pro lab in Brisbane.

Ahhhh 7 months. My favourite age to capture. The first series of little shots you see below were taken literally seconds after each other. Babies at this age just have so much personality, and Ivy had plenty of adorable expressions this morning in her session.

My mum says her pregnancy was enjoyable, uneventful, special, emotional & LONG
Our birth was good at times and bad at times. Our midwives were angels and my Dad was amazing!
I love Mum & Dad humming close to my ears, having my nappy off, bath time and of course - milk.
But I'm not so fond of getting in the baby capsule. Once I'm in though, it's my favourite place to be.

Isn't she just precious? Thank for driving all the way up from the Gold Coast for today Jade & Adam!

I love this little girl. I was present at her birth, photographed her as a tiny newborn, and now she's come back in for a baby session at 8 months and we had lots of fun with her today.

Amelia is such a serene bub, very cool, calm and collected. Her little pursed lips in the shot below just kill me, talk about cute!...

Di and Ro, you're doing such an amazing job with this little one, I love watching her grow, and I can't wait to show you all the shots we have!

It's time to get some help down at the Little Posers studio! I am looking for a part time office coordinator to assist with administrative tasks. This position is flexible in hours, and will initially involve only a few hours per week. There is the potential for this position to grow with the applicant and form a more permanent position at Little Posers Photography.

The office coordinator’s primary responsibility is respond to clients via phone and email, and greeting clients when they come in the door. You will also be responsible for receiving orders from the lab, checking and collating, and packaging for client collection; Keeping the studio space neat and organised; Organising client ordering sessions and preparing the studio.

I need someone with excellent communication skills and most importantly a can-do attitude, no matter what the task, and a positive attitude. A general knowledge of Photoshop would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
