Sweet lil Eva was a fiesty girl but cute as anything! A ton of hair, perfect skin and chubby cheeks, when we finally got her into a nice deep sleep she was ours long enough to capture a ton of images.

Gisele turned 2 today and she bought her brand new baby brother in for a session. I love these shots of the two of them, so cute!

What a gorgeous session to come home to after my Melbourne trip. Xanthe was just perfect today, the first shot has to be a new favourite of mine.

I've just returned from a whirlwind 4 days in Melbourne, attending the Australian Professional Photographer National Awards (APPA) - of course I'm straight back into photographing some gorgeous newborns this week but thought I would pop in and announce that I was thrilled to received 2 silver awards for the images below. It was the first time I've entered and so it was absolutely lovely to be recognised for the work I do on a daily basis.

The first image is close to my heart, fellow photographer (and mummy in this shot) Nicole was with me when the image was being judged. It was an emotion-charged moment when the silver was handed out, ending in a few whoops and tears on our behalf ;)

And little twins Addison & Liam helped me score another silver award with the image below. How could this cuteness pass the judges by?

My mum says her pregnancy was exciting and pretty easy.
Our birth was a moment my parents will treasure for ever.
I just love sleep. Lots and lots of sleep.
But I'm not so fond of loud noises... especially ones made by my big brother!

Birth is something that I'm so passionate about, and having experienced an amazing second birth with the help of Hypnobirthing, I know it's possible to have an empowering, life changing experience. Cooper's Mum and Dad came all the way down to Brisbane from the Northern Territory to welcome Cooper - and Mum made sure she booked well in advance for her newborn session. Cooper was such a good little model and gorgeously round at just over 9lb.

I weighed 4.15kgs and measured 55cm.
My favourite things are cuddles and showers ;)

I had a great session with Romario this morning, a bit of milk and he was out. This little boy is so doted on by his big sisters and I loved having them all in the studio.

My love being cuddled, but I'm not so fond of having a bath and being changed.

Will is one of my friend's bubs, he looks so much like his big brother, but different in his own little ways. He came in for a little shoot last week and made us work for those smiles! We found his weak spot though with a tickle from a T shirt - it's always something, we just have to find it!

Twin 2 year old siblings and a 6 day old baby brother - impossible right? Not today! All these gorgeous kids were so well behaved this morning. Mum & Dad, get ready for the cutest shot...

Hi, my name is Wyatt Xavier.
My Mum says her pregnancy was very long and uncomfortable, I loved to wiggle and move around a lot - right up until the end.
I was induced at 41.5 weeks and I arrived 5.5 hours after my waters broke. My Mum & Dad were very excited to finally meet me. I weighed an impressive 9lb 7oz and measured 54cms.
I love feeding often and warm tight cuddles... but I'm not so fond of bath time.

Tiny Archie surprised his parents with an early arrival - he's not even due yet! Talk about a sweet pea, he arrived and I was playing some dancey, happy music which he just loved. Looking back through the shots as I downloaded them to my computer, he was also very smiley, I could have made a blog post of all smiley shots from this little man!

I made a quick and early arrival, Mum says it was surreal and an amazing experience. I weighed 3.01kgs and measured 49cms.
